Prince Andrew Shown Hovering Over Woman in Newly Released Epstein Files Photos

DOJ-released images tied to the Epstein case show the former royal looming over a woman on the floor, reigniting scrutiny of his past

Newly released documents from the Department of Justice include unsettling photos showing Prince Andrew crouched over a woman lying on the floor inside a room — images now fueling renewed scrutiny of the former royal’s long-criticized ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

The woman in the photos is fully clothed and her face is redacted, making it impossible to identify her or determine the circumstances surrounding the moment. In two of the images, Andrew is seen staring down at the woman with his hand placed on her midsection. In another, he leans over her while looking directly into the camera.

The three photographs were released Friday as part of the latest Epstein Files rollout, which made 3.5 million documents related to the late financier publicly available. The massive disclosure includes references to numerous high-profile figures — including President Trump, Elon Musk, and Bill Clinton — though the DOJ notes there are no proven incidents of wrongdoing tied to many of the names mentioned.

Andrew’s appearance in the newly released materials adds to the fallout from his association with Epstein, which ultimately cost him his royal standing. In October, Andrew announced he had stripped himself of his remaining royal titles, and later that month King Charles III initiated a formal process to remove his “Style, Titles and Honours.” The former prince is now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The controversy traces back in part to allegations from Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, who filed a lawsuit claiming Andrew sexually assaulted her when she was 17. The case was settled in 2022, though Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and did not admit guilt as part of the settlement.

The release of the photos has once again placed Andrew at the center of public attention as investigators, media, and the public continue to sift through the newly unsealed Epstein Files.

Story developing.
