Gervonta Davis Seen ‘Pushing and Forcing’ Woman Down Stairs, Cops Say

Police say surveillance video captured the boxing star grabbing a woman by the hair and neck during a violent altercation inside a nightclub

Police say a violent incident involving boxing star Gervonta “Tank” Davis was captured on surveillance video inside a gentlemen’s club in October, showing what authorities describe as Davis pushing and forcing a woman down a set of stairs.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by TMZ Sports, investigators reviewed multiple camera angles from inside Tootsie’s Cabaret around 4:15 a.m. on October 27, 2025. Officers say the footage shows Davis approach the woman, grab her by the hair, and forcefully walk her toward a stairwell.

Police state the woman attempted to stop Davis by holding onto a railing, but he allegedly continued pushing her down the stairs. Other clips, according to the warrant, show Davis grabbing her hoodie and pulling her in different directions, as well as holding her by the back of her neck while leading her through an empty area of the club.

Authorities say the final angle shows the two entering a parking garage, where the woman is seen running away.

Officers interviewed two possible witnesses, one of whom claimed there was a prior incident in Miami Beach where Davis allegedly grabbed the woman by the neck, though details of that encounter were not included in the warrant.

Police say the footage supports the woman’s statement given two days later at the Miami Gardens Police Department. She told officers she was working in the VIP section of the club when the alleged assault occurred.

According to police, the woman said Davis accused her of ignoring him and became upset after she ended their relationship about a month earlier. She also claimed she warned Davis they were being recorded on security cameras, but said he did not care.

The woman told officers she had blocked Davis on all forms of communication prior to the incident and reported a history of unreported domestic violence between them. The arrest warrant also states she showed police text messages containing alleged death threats. She later sought medical attention, according to authorities.

On January 14, officials announced the 31-year-old boxer was wanted on three charges: battery, false imprisonment, and attempted kidnapping. Davis was later located and taken into custody, and his bond was set at $16,000.

The allegations were previously detailed in a lawsuit and were significant enough for Most Valuable Promotions to cancel a planned fight involving Davis.
